Sean Akizuki's Favorite East Asian Celebrities

So I do like all the Shinkenger cast but two among them had been named among my favorites.  One is the leading guy Tori Matsuzaka and the other is Rin Takanashi.  I made two separate entries for them based on their cast members as Takeru Shiba and Mako Shiraishi, I'll talk about their interactions.  Although I was slightly disappointed they weren't officially a couple in the show, but I still can't deny the charm in their interaction.


Now to focus on the character that is Mako Shiraishi and her role to Takeru Shiba.  The role of Mako is where she is the only character among the vassals who realizes Takeru is hiding something.  She has her "motherly instinct" towards him.  Rin Takanashi carries out that part of understanding Takeru pretty well.  For Tori Matsuzaka sure it was just his starting role but even at the start, he does a convincing job to which he just got better.  Takeru is hiding something from the Shinkengers and Tori Matsuzaka really does a good job…

Despite being in his late 30s, he looks much younger.  Hehe.  No wonder he's getting paired with much younger girls these days like Tracy Chou and Tong Li Ya.  Now only if he gets paired with Liu Yi Fei!

Well this slipped my mind for quite some time but I thought about this one.  Just a coincidence imo with this:
Rin Takanashi acted as Mako Shiraishi in Shinkenger who is the pink ranger.  Unlike most pink rangers that usually retire after Toku, she still has been going forward for some more projects.  She also starred in the mini-series Ultra Q as Emiko Watarase a travelling magazine columnist.  Neo Ultra Q aired on January 12, 2013.
Christina Masterson was cast as Emma Goodall for Megaforce/Super Megaforce where she is also the pink ranger.  Emma is also having a photography hobby like the late Mika from Bioman and Chisato from Megaranger.  Hmmm did the producers of Megaforce watch Neo Ultra Q before Megaforce came out?  Probably not but most likely just a coincidence.  But you can't deny that Rin Takanashi played a photographer post-Shinkenger and she was previously a pink ranger.  So go figure.  Megaforce aired on February 2, 2013.
